There is no ocean like the Maine ocean.

I am returning from my retreat in Maine, and although I am a Mainer now there is something so magical about the midcoast sea. Maybe because it is so expansive, wild, questionable, unforgiving, mystical. I’m not sure but it reminds me a lot of life. We have our harsh Winters where it can feel the bitterness is never-ending, we have the mild sea temperatures where life feels easeful. What we hope to learn is the effortless flow.

Not a giving up or accepting something so unjust- but an agreement or understanding that this too shall pass. This moment, time, season has a reason.

My wish for you is that you find these moments of contentment.
